Bulgaria Best Value Holidays

Bulgaria is the best-value tourist destination in the world, according to a new report by Teletext Holidays.
The south eastern European country offers a pint of beer for just 49p and a three star hotel room for £50 in some areas, says Teletext’s World’s Best Value Breaks report.

Flights cost an average of £58, with the average taxi journey coming in at £1.45. A three course meal with service costs around £7 and a Big Mac comes in at £1.

Second placed Morocco also offers terrific value, according to the report, with a five star double room with breakfast in Marrakech costing on average around £80.

Ash Makkar, Marketing Director of Teletext Holidays said: “The traditional holiday locations of the past 20-30 years will always remain popular but we hope that our ‘World’s Best Value Breaks Report’ will give holidaymakers insight and inspiration when it comes to choosing their next overseas holiday, whether it’s a European city break or a week in Goa.”

“Interest in countries such as Morocco and India has grown significantly, proving that people are becoming more adventurous than ever before when it comes to booking a trip abroad.”
